Cookie Notice.
Last updated: August 21, 2024
This Cookie Notice provides information about how and why Regeniam Inc. and its affiliates (individually or collectively, "Regeniam") may use "cookies," pixels and similar tracking technologies (collectively referred to in this Notice as "Cookies") to collect and use data on Regeniam's websites, mobile apps, electronic blogs and forums, third-party partner websites, direct mailings, applications, programs and platforms (together, "Sites"). Except as otherwise stated in this Notice, Regeniam's Privacy Policy will apply to its processing of the Personal Data Regeniam collects via Cookies.
What are Cookies?
Cookies are small text, image, data files, or tag code snippets containing small amounts of information that a Site – when visited by a user – asks your browser to store on your device in order to remember information about you. Cookies are then sent back to the originating Site on each subsequent visit, or to another Site that recognizes that Cookie. Cookies that Regeniam uses include session Cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, and persistent Cookies, which stay in your browser until they expire or you delete them.
Why Does Regeniam Use Cookies?
The information Regeniam collects using Cookies helps Regeniam to provide, protect, and improve the Regeniam services, credits offered for sale, or other products (collectively, "Services") purchased by you or your company, and the Sites with which you interact. While the Cookies Regeniam uses may change from time to time as Regeniam improves and update its Services, Regeniam uses them for the following purposes:
Security, Site, and Service Integrity: to help Regeniam keep your accounts, data, and its Services safe and secure.
Site Features and Services: to enable the functionality which aid in providing the Services and the Sites and assist you in navigating them more efficiently.
Authentication: to verify your account and determine when you're logged in so that Regeniam can make it easier for you to access its Services, Sites, and events, and show you the appropriate experience and features.
Personalize your Experience with its Sites and Services: to personalize content you see on its Sites and in its communications with you. Regeniam may keep a record of your prior interaction with its Sites and mailings (e.g., pages viewed, articles and links clicked on and downloaded, etc.) to aid in this personalization.
Analytics and Research: to better understand how people use its Site and Services to improve them.
Recommendations and Promotions: to assist with its promotional and marketing efforts.
What Types of Cookies Does Regeniam Use?
Origin. Cookies are referred to as "first-party" if they are placed by a Site that is visited and "third-party" if they are placed by a party other than the visited Site (such as an advertiser or analytics system).
Duration. "Session Cookies" are temporary and expire once you close your browser (or once your session ends). "Persistent Cookies" remain on your hard drive until you erase them, or your browser does, depending on the Cookie's expiration date.
Purpose. Cookies used by Regeniam can be divided into four categories, depending on their intended purposes: Strictly Necessary Cookies, Performance Cookies, Functional Cookies, and Targeting Cookies.
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These Cookies are necessary for the Services and Sites to function properly and are essential to facilitate authentication, registration, security, or log-in process and enable you to navigate and use Site features. They are usually only set in response to actions made by you which amount to a request for services, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in, or filling in forms. You can set your browser to block or alert you about these Cookies, but some parts of the site will not work. These Cookies do not store any personally identifiable information.
Performance Cookies
These analytic Cookies allow Regeniam to count visits and traffic sources so Regeniam can measure and improve the performance of its Sites. They help Regeniam to know which pages are the most and least popular and see how visitors use the Sites. All information these Cookies collect is aggregated and therefore anonymous. If you do not allow these Cookies Regeniam will not know when you have visited its Site and will not be able to monitor its performance.
Functional Cookies
These Cookies enable the website to provide enhanced functionality and personalization by keeping a record of your interaction with its Sites (e.g., pages viewed, articles clicked on/downloaded, links you have clicked on in its mailings, etc.). They may be set by Regeniam or by third party providers whose services Regeniam has added to its pages. If you do not allow these Cookies, then some or all of these services may not function properly. For example, these Cookies allow Regeniam to save your current credit purchases on its platform and streamline your Site experience through your geographic location to ensure that Regeniam shows you its website in a language localized for your area.
While these Cookies allow its Sites to remember choices you make during your Site visits, the information these Cookies collect will not personally identify you.
Targeting Cookies
These Cookies may be set through its Site by its advertising partners. They may be used by those companies to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant adverts on other sites. They do not store directly personal information but are based on uniquely identifying your browser and internet device. Note: opting out of certain Targeting Cookies will not remove advertising from the Sites you interact with; instead any ads you see may not be targeted to your interests.
How Do I Control or Delete Cookies Through My Browser?
Most browsers allow you to manage how cookies are set and used as you're browsing, and to clear cookies and browsing data (usually located within the "Help," "Settings," "Tools", or "Edit" facility). Also, your browser may have settings allowing you to manage Cookies on a site-by-site basis. Please be aware that if you make updates to your browser or device settings or use an online link to opt out of Cookies, those updates apply to the device where you made the changes. These controls vary by browser, and manufacturers may change both the settings they make available and how they work at any time. Also, if you set your browser to disable certain Cookies, you may not be able to access certain parts of the Sites and other parts of the Sites may also not work properly.
How Do I Manage Cookie Preferences on Your Website?
You will be prompted to manage our use of certain Cookies via the Cookies Preference Settings on your first visit to our website. These settings will remain in effect until you delete your existing Cookies, whereby you will be prompted to make your selections again upon revisiting the Site.
